Display Railroads
I can make you a fine miniature display railroad that is 18" wide by 36" to 48" long. These are best displayed in shop windows - the best attention-getter imaginable. No matter what you are selling, a moving train set catches the eye of passers-by. Our displays include a loop of track in a general oval shape, plus ground cover, trees, buildings and miniatures. They are highly-detailed, realistic scenes. We include a train with locomotive, 3 cars and caboose. Just set it in place, put the train on the tracks, and turn on the transformer. Note that each display railroad is a unique, custom design. Prices start at $250. Order early - this time of year, we can complete a railroad in under 3 weeks. Once the holidays get closer, we get more business and so finishing time is longer.
A small hobby railroad is available at 24 inches wide by 48 inches long. This is a basic oval with two switches and an arc, plus scenery. A deluxe version has four switches and two additional sidings for added realism. Because hobby railroads are meant to be used, sturdier material are employed. Prices start at $300.
